Product Manager - Consumer Electronics

Are you an experienced Project or Product Manager in Electronic Consumer Goods?

In this role you are an expert in all aspects of the product and key competitor product portfolio. You’ll provide market intelligence and sell through analysis to support informed decision-making.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Work with Regional PM & members of the regional sales team to convert opportunities into revenue. Support the preparation by Regional PM & BU Leaders for customer meetings and range reviews. Analyze sell-through performance and share insights and action.
• Collect & summarize market insights and maintain and publish a thorough competitor benchmark and use this analysis to provide recommended actions to the BU leadership. Analysis to include understanding of competitor roadmap architecture to identify any gaps or unmet regional needs.
• Submit marketing requests for all deliverables and then track delivery against the defined timelines. Ensure the EMEA websites and key customer websites reflect the regional product strategy and are fully up to date.
• Prepare company training material and provide sales training information and sessions to internal colleagues and external customers as they relate to product, competitors and the market pricing strategy and creating and maintaining.
• Support the BU Manager/Director with the preparation and publication of category or NPI sell-in decks & all relevant product launch packs. Maintain and publish trackers for specific regional initiatives and be prepared to update and share developments with Senior EMEA management.

• Bachelors Degree
• Several years experience in project or product management
• Affinity for technology and interest in relevant product categories
• Fluent in English – written and verbal, second European language advantageous
• Good commercial awareness
• Strong insight into the relevant market – competitor knowledge, price movements etc
• Understanding of how to construct range architecture and manage specific projects
• Understanding of what it means to manage different stages of a product lifecycle
