Product Manager
Job description
Managing the marketing mix for the respective product segment the Product Manager holds responsibility for:
Product (mix, portfolio)
Price (price coordination, NTO, profitability)
Promotion (strategies, product brand)
Place (distribution)
You are the link between the organisation and the local Product Managers. You plan and realise sales promotion activities in cooperation with the Marketing Communications team and agencies. Informing the local national sales organisations about product novelties and sharing product information within the organisation and with the subsidiaries. You ensure successful launches of new products together with the Marketing Communications team and maximise net sales together with the Sales Management team.
Requirements
- Successfully completed graduate studies or comparable education (Marketing) or MBA (Business Administration)
- 5 years professional experience in a comparable position
- Experience in a consumer electronics and/or consumer goods and/or FMCG organisation desirable
- Experience in the evaluation of product design and the further development of product concepts
- Project management experience
- Proactive approach to high quality customer service delivery
- Business acumen, results driven
- Ability to be open-minded and well-informed in acting quick and resolutely
- Actively seeks opportunity to improve and cross-leverage networks and resources to optimise innovative solutions and achieve results
- Approaches problem-solving creatively, analytically and systematically to reach optimal solutions
